Q2. Does the print affect the play characteristics of the cloth?No, not at all. We have carried out extensive testing to see if the image distracts the players whilst playing. We have found that although striking and novel at first, once the game is underway players do not notice the image in the background.Some players commented that it was nice to play on something different and that it was more fun!
Q3. How can I place an order?We have distribution channels available across the world and have ArtScape agents who will be happy to take your order. If you would like to know which outlet to contact, simply contact us directly with your details and we will get the Agent to contact you.
Q4. What type of images can be used?We can accept both digital and processed images. Our in-house design studio will work to optimise your image on the table. The better the quality and the larger the size of the image we receive, the better the final print will look.

Q5. What is worsted cloth?Our worsted cloth, called SuperPro™, is made from a wool – nylon blend. It is a fast, smooth and hardwearing cloth usually used on American Tables. It does not have a nap and plays faster than a napped cloth.
Q6. What is napped cloth?Our napped cloth, called 6811, has a directional finish, which enhances the play characteristics of the cloth. It is considered a high grade cloth for snooker and English pool tables.
Q7. How do I fit an ArtScape layout?We recommend that a specialist pool table maintenance company fit all pool cloths. Fitting a pool cloth to a table is an extremely specialised skill and should not be attempted unless you have had proper training.
Q8. What type of table do I have?Pool tables are usually divided into two types: American and English. However there are different table sizes and differences between manufacturers and makers. What is important for ArtScape is the play area of the table. This is the distance between the top of the cushion/rails.
Q9. Can you print photographs?We are able to print photographs onto the cloth both from digital images and hard copies. A photograph will be enlarged so it covers the whole of the bed and cushions/rails of the pool table. Before taking the photo set the camera on the highest quality image possible and centralise the target object in the photo. Send the whole of the photo do not cut the image to size. Remember that pool table ratios are approximately 2:1, therefore allow for some of the outside edges of the photo to be cut as necessary. When translating our image to pool table sizes, our designers will not distort the image. All hard copy photographs should be delivered flat, without creases and without fingermarks. Minimum digital size is 3 Mega Pixels.
