ArtScape, which is changing the appearance of pool tables in the US, China and Australia, has broken into one of the world’s toughest markets - Yorkshire.

Matthew Haycox of Wildcats in Harrogate, has become the first owner of a lap-dancing club in the UK to fit an ArtScape design to a pool table.

Matthew, who owns three clubs and plans to open two more this year, described the Wildcats image, supplied by Wolverhampton distributor Mike Yates of Kingswood Leisure as “brilliant.”

“The quality is excellent and the design is exactly what we were looking for,” said Matthew. “It sets off the pool room and the club in general, where customer reaction has brought nothing but praise. I think it’s absolutely brilliant and I will be looking at buying more.”

The ArtScape Décor range is manufactured by Milliken Woollen Speciality Products and brings vibrant imagery to pool tables in clubs, other licensed premises, entertainment centres or the home. It offers pool table owners a choice of 77 designs, each producing high-definition digital imaging on premium grade spill-protected pool table cloth.

Table owners can also have a design of their choosing if supplied on a CD. English pool tables are fitted with Strachan 6811 tournament grade fine nap cloth made from 100% pure wool with high-grade Milliken SuperPro worsted cloth fitted to American tables.
